New August Workshop: Telling for the Story- Learning Sacred Storytelling

Storyteller.net and the Center for Creative Ministry present a four week workshop on sacred telling. Tuesdays, August 5,12,19 and 26, 2003. We’ll meet from 9am to Noon at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (918 S. Litchfield Road) in Goodyear, Arizona. We appreciate the use of their church for this event. Learn how to choose faith based scripture stories and improve your ability to tell them. How do you connect "your" story with "the" story? Learn several styles to blend with your own. Beginner or pro, we’re ready to help you grow with as you tell stories with video feedback. Group size is limited to five people so that everyone gets the attention they deserve. Although you will be able to use your new skills for any age level, you’ll especially find this workshop helpful to teach you new skills for telling to adults, teens and children aged 10 and older. Your workshop will be led by K. Sean Buvala who has 18+ years of national experience in telling for sacred, corporate, school and government settings. You’ll appreciate his warm and challenging style as you seek to improve (or maybe start) your journey of sacred storytelling. |
